Future Gen Virtual Services

In partnership with Washington’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Future Gen is offering career exploration workshops to help students with disabilities prepare for workplace at no cost to students. We offer in-person group workshops at select locations as well as a virtual class in the evening.  The virtual class is open to any student who meets the eligibility requirements and are from WA State ESD areas 113, 121, and 171.

Students Are Eligible If They:

  • Are 14-22 years old

  • Have a documented disability (IEP, 504, medically diagnosed, or signed up for accommodation with Edmonds College’s Services for Students with Disabilities)

  • Are enrolled in the K-12 system, a transitional program, or a college/university.

  • Filled out a Pre-ETS Consent Form

All Sessions Will Include:

  • Free access to a CareerAtlas User License while attending virtual group workshops

  • A unique career discovery process to over 50K+ unique career possibilities driven by watching short-form video content from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram

  • Opportunities to learn self-advocacy and workplace readiness skills and discover personal strengths

How To Register:

Step 1

Complete the registration survey to let us know which classes and services you're interested in.

Step 2

​

Complete the Pre-Employment Transition Service Consent (Pre-ETS) form (if you have not already done so). This form allows students to access a variety of job preparation services for free. Section 2 of the form needs to be completed by a school official, which can be anyone on a student's IEP team that has knowledge of the student's disability.

Step 3

​

Email the completed Pre-Employment Transition Service Consent form to info@futuregenxyz.com at least 10 days before the start of class.
